1. Ajay Wadhavkar

Ajay Wadhavkar, a versatile Hindi and Marathi actor who was also a wonderful comedian, died on February 27, 2015. For a long time, the veteran actor, who rose to fame as Ganpat Hawaldar in Nukkad, battled diabetes and throat cancer. He was being treated at Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital. The actor appeared in Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta (Sacred Ties), in which he played Damodar Rao Deshmukh, Sushant Singh Rajput’s (Manav) father.

2. Surekha Sikri

Surekha Sikri was an actress from India. She made her acting debut in the 1977 political drama Kissa Kursi Ka and went on to perform supporting roles in a number of Hindi and Malayalam films as well as Indian soap operas.

Sikri featured as Ranaji’s grandmother in the Zee World series Once There Was a King and Queen and as Bhabo in the Zee World series Saloni before passing away last year in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, at the age of 76.

3. Sridevi

Sridevi, a 54-year-old veteran actress, died on February 24, 2018. She was in Dubai with her family to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding. As her family returned to India, she decided to stay. On Sunday, February 25, 2018, word surfaced of Sridevi’s untimely death, reportedly due to heart arrest, leaving the entire country in shock and disbelief.

4. Mohan Bhandari

Actor Mohan Bhandari passed away on September 24, 2015, leaving behind his family, friends, and admirers. During the 1980s, he was believed to be one of the busiest actors. He then disappeared from the industry until 1994, when he reappeared in a hit TV serial called ‘Saat Phere’ (Saloni), in which he played the father of a female protagonist named Saloni.

5. Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant Singh Rajput was an actor from India. Rajput was well-known in Hindi cinema for his roles in several commercially successful Bollywood films. He was most known for his roles as Manav and Sacred Ties in the Zee World series. On June 14, 2020, he was discovered dead in his Bandra home. His demise shocked his fans all around the world.
